Pu-erh is a traditionally aged and fermented tea. Once the leaves have been dried and rolled, they are fermented using naturally occurring yeasts that, as the tea ages, slowly develop unique flavors and qualities of the tea. This tea brews into a rich, complex, sweet cup with an aroma and flavor reminiscent of musk and earthiness. Offering a clean, refined texture with a soft body, our Pu-erh #2 has that classic 'earthy' taste that this variety is known for.
Brewing Instructions: Use 1 teaspoon for 12 oz of water heated to 195F/90C. Steep 2 to 4 minutes.

Products damaged during transit: To ensure customer satisfaction, all products are visually inspected prior to transfer to our shipping carrier. All orders /shipments are properly packaged and insured for delivery by FedEx to your provided shipping address. Please inspect your package when you receive it from the carrier. All claims for damages and shortages must be made within 5 business days of receipt of merchandise. Box Damage: If you notice any apparent damages to the outer carton (i.e. gashes in the box, box severely crushed, internal packaging, such as peanuts leaking), please alert the driver / carrier and make a damage notation with your signature. Concealed Damages for FedEx : If you notice any concealed damages from shipping, please call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800-463-3339 to obtain a control number for your claim, then complete a printed copy of the claim form. Make sure that you keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, peanuts, etc...) as an inspector will need to inspect the package.
