Lapsang Souchong
Origin: China
Easily one of the more aromatically distinctive teas, Lapsang Souchong originated in Fujian province where it was known for its distinctly smoky flavor and scent. Jet black, roughly twisted leaves infused with the savory smoky flavor from being smoked over green pine roots, the tea itself is mild, clean and balances with a gentle sweetness as it hosts a subtle flavor reminiscent of pipe tobacco.
Brewing Instructions: Use 1 teaspoon of tea for 12 oz of water heated to 195F/90C. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

Products damaged during transit: To ensure customer satisfaction, all products are visually inspected prior to transfer to our shipping carrier. All orders /shipments are properly packaged and insured for delivery by FedEx to your provided shipping address. Please inspect your package when you receive it from the carrier. All claims for damages and shortages must be made within 5 business days of receipt of merchandise. Box Damage: If you notice any apparent damages to the outer carton (i.e. gashes in the box, box severely crushed, internal packaging, such as peanuts leaking), please alert the driver / carrier and make a damage notation with your signature. Concealed Damages for FedEx : If you notice any concealed damages from shipping, please call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800-463-3339 to obtain a control number for your claim, then complete a printed copy of the claim form. Make sure that you keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, peanuts, etc...) as an inspector will need to inspect the package.
